Distance contract

  1. This agreement is concluded between SIA Praia, reg. No. 40203262473 , legal address: Krasta iela 44-5, Salacgrīva, Salacgrīvas nov. LV-4033, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as Praia) and the Buyer (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer) who places an order in Praia online store located at the Internet address https://www.praiajewelry.lv (hereinafter – Jewelry Shop).
  2. The operation of the Internet Jewelry Shop is provided and maintained by Praia.
  3. By placing an order in the Jewelry Shop, the Buyer confirms that he has read the Jewelry Shop Terms of Use
  4. When a customer purchases from a Jewelry Shop, hereinafter referred to as goods offered on Praia’s website via the Internet, such reciprocal agreement shall be considered a distance contract and shall be subject to the provisions on distance contracts and Directive 97/7 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. EEC on consumer protection in connection with distance contracts, the Law on Consumer Protection of the Republic of Latvia and the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia on distance contracts.
  5. The Buyer has the right to receive the goods and services offered in the Jewelry Shop store after the Buyer has made a prepayment of the respective service or product.
  6. The description and price of each relevant product and service are indicated in the product catalog next to each product. The buyer has the opportunity to pay for the product or service by choosing one of the types of remote payments offered in the Jewelry Shop.
  7. Payment for goods and/or services means the fact of ordering the service and the Buyer’s irrevocable consent to the Terms.
  8. After making the payment for the order, the Buyer has concluded an agreement with Praia, which sets out mutual obligations and responsibilities for both parties.
  9. The buyer has the right to return the product to Praia shop within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product, without providing an explanation of the reason for refusal.
  10. The returned product must not be used, damaged, it must be in the original packaging, the packaging and its marking must not be damaged. The exercise of the right of withdrawal and the return of goods takes place in accordance with the following legal acts: Consumer Rights Protection Law; Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 207 “Rules on distance contracts”.
  11. Praia has the right to unilaterally cancel the order and return the full order fee to the Buyer if due to circumstances beyond Praia’s control the execution of the order is not possible. (For example, the ordered product is not available for a long time or the season is over).

The terms, conditions and restrictions of use of the services available on the website https://www.praiajewelry.lv, as well as sanctions in case of non-compliance with these terms, are binding on all its users, visitors and service recipients.

Confidentiality

The jewelry shop guarantees the processing, storage and non-disclosure of the received personal data to third parties in accordance with the requirements specified in the laws and legal acts of the Republic of Latvia. The e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, postal addresses of visitors and buyers received at the time of accepting orders will be used only for communication with the customer and / or recipient of goods and / or services, and for the execution pf the order delivery.

Product colours

The buyer should note that we cannot guarantee that the colours displayed on your device will be accurate to the actual product, as the colour you see also depends on the resolution of your electronic device.

Jewelry care information

Jewelry should be stored in a dry and dark place. They must be cleaned periodically with a dry cloth to maintain the original shine of the product. Genuine leather jewelry should preferably be stored upright or lying down so that it does not take an unwanted shape. It is recommended to store wooden jewelry in a dry place separately from each other to avoid colour and crystal deformation. It is not recommended to clean or rub. Contact of the products with any liquid (water, beverages, detergents, etc.) as well as creams should be avoided. Do not forget that jewelry is the last accent in your image, and they can only be applied after using perfume or hairspray. Remove jewelry by going to the sauna, shower, pool or swimming. For gilded jewelry, colour change is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Ordering and payment

After paying for the order for the goods you want to order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can make payments in the online store using various methods that will be available before making a payment. If you want to make any changes to your order, please contact us immediately by e-mail elina.sangovica@gmail.com or by phone +371 22402022. We do not transfer credit card or other payment information to third parties, except for payment processing for ordered goods as required by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.

Order cancellation

If you have placed an order on the Praia website, but want to cancel the order, you must immediately notify us in writing to elina.sangovica@gmail.com or by phone – +371 22402022 (call only on working days). If the order has already been shipped, the return policy came into force (Read the return policy here). The amount paid for delivery and return of the goods is non-refundable. But if the order has not been shipped yet, you will be refunded the full amount you paid within 10 (ten) working days from the moment we contacted you and confirmed that we have received your request to cancel the order.

Subscribing to news and special offers

If you have chosen to receive news and special offers by e-mail from Praia, we will offer you extensive information about sales, new collections, special offers and other Praia news. The e-mail address you provided when registering for the Praia online store will only be used by our company to send you the latest information. We respect your right to privacy and will not share your email address with other companies. If you wish to unsubscribe from Praia newsletter, you can do so in the e-mail we have sent you. At the very bottom of the e-mail, you will find the words “Unsubscribe from news”, by clicking on them, you will have unsubscribed from receiving further news.

Disputes and claims

All disputes and claims are resolved through mutual negotiations no later than within 10 (ten) days from the date of receipt of the claim. The claim must be submitted in writing. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be resolved in the court of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the procedures prescribed by laws and legal acts.
